GAINESVILLE, FLA (5/29/04) - The Saint Joseph's men's track team sent a pair of individuals, sophomore Andrew Thomas and junior Collin Martin to the 2004 NCAA East Region Track and Field Championships on Friday, May 28 and Saturday, May 29 at the Percy Beard Track on the campus of the University of Florida.

Thomas placed sixth in his 800m heat with a time of 1:54.04 and finished 27th overall. Martin finished 19th in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 9:19.90

Nearly 200 track and field programs were represented at the East Region meet.
