PHILADELPHIA (05/08/03) - Saint Joseph's University softball players Brandie Adams and Cara Deldeo were named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team. Adams, who has compiled an 8-3 record on the mound for SJU with a 2.77 ERA, boasts a 3.96 cumulative grade point average as an elementary education major. The team's starting shorstop, Deldeo, the Hawks' leading hitter with a .338 batting average, has the team's highest grade point average, 3.97, as an interdisciplinary health services major.
