PHILADELPHIA (04/07/03) -- Senior Jerry Puryear has picked up his second Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week honor in the last three weeks, as announced by the conference office today. Puryear was an IC4A qualifier in three events at the Duke Invitational this weekend, taking first in the 400m hurdles in a time of 52.87, tops in the Conference this season. He also ran a leg of the 4x400m relay that placed fourth (3:13.14) and the 4x800m relay that finished fifth (7:35.92) in Durham.
