DURHAM, NC- The St. Joseph's men's track team competed at the Duke Invitational over the weekend. The meet included squads from Villanova, South Carolina State, Campbell, South Carolina, Georgetown, Michigan, Syracuse, as well as the host Blue Devils. Junior Ben Koch was the Hawks top finisher, placing second in the 3000 meter steeplechase (9:16.56). Senior Karl Savage ran strong, placing third in the 5000 (14:19.45) while Bill Hoffman placed fifth in the 10,000 meter run (31:29.28). Other highlights include an eighth place finish by the 4x100 relay team.
