TALLAHASSEE, FL (3/12/04) -- Saint Joseph's opened play in the Florida State Invitational by sweeping Robert Morris, 5-1, and Central Michigan, 4-1. SJU improves to 5-7 with the wins. RMU scored a first inning run off junior Cara Deldeo, but that was all it could manage off the right-handed, who allowed five hits and struck out six in a complete game victory. Junior Robin Berry had two hits while classmate Lynn Ravert ripped a two-run single for the Hawks. There are no other details regarding the win over Central Michigan.
