GRAFF BECOMES THIRD HAWK TO BE NAMED BIG FIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

PHILADELPHIA (1/21/03) - Saint Joseph's junior forward Stephanie Graff has been named the Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, January 19. She is the third different SJU player to be honored this season, joining teammates Irina Krasnoshiok (12/17) and Erin Brady (1/7). Graff led SJU to a perfect 3-0 week and helped the team extend its winning streak to six in a row. The Hawks were 2-0 in Big Five contests during the week, defeating Penn (70-60) on Tuesday and La Salle (83-80) in double-overtime on Sunday. The Drexel, Hill, Pa. native delivered a pair of double-doubles with 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Quakers and 12 points and 11 boards versus Dayton. She then played all 50 minutes and scored 24 points in the victory over the Explorers. For the week Graff averaged 17.7 points and 9.7 rebounds. For the season Graff is averaging 13.0 points and 8.0 rebounds.
