PHILADELPHIA (4/24/04) - The Saint Joseph's men's track team sent its top relay teams to the Penn Relays on Friday and Saturday with the 4x400 of Nick Carras, Kile Garguilo, Chris Koneski and Andrew Thomas delivering the weekend's best times for SJU.

The 4x400 won its heat on Friday with a time of 3:13.46 and then returned on Saturday and delivered a time of 3:14.19 in the IC4A race.

SJU also raced a 4x200, which had problems and placed sixth in qualifying heats in a time of 1:29.53. The 4x800 was eleventh in its section with a time of 7:45.54. The Distance Medley Realy was tenth (10:04.98) in its heat, while the Sprint Medley placed 42nd overall.
