PHILADELPHIA (3/29/04) - Sophomores Andrew Thomas and Andria Smythe have been named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Co-Performer's of the Week in men's and women's track for the week ending on March 28, respectively. Thomas captured gold in the 400m dash at the Lafayette 6-Way on Mar. 27 in an IC4A qualifying time of 47.43. He also ran the leadoff leg of the winning 4x400m relay that posted an IC4A Championship qualifying time of 3:15.63, tops in the A-10. Smythe, menawhile placed first in the 100m dash on Mar. 27 at the Lafayette 6-Way with an ECAC Championship qualifying time of 11.90 and ran a leg of the winning 4x100m relay that posted a time of 48.25. Additionally, she placed second in the long jump (17-10 3/4) and 200m dash (25.17) events.
