NEW HAVEN, CT (5/16/04) - Sparked by a fourth place finish from sophomore Andrew Thomas in the 400m, the Saint Joseph's men's track team placed 37th at the IC4A Championships held at Yale University's Outdoor Track and Field Complex.

Thomas placed fifth during qualifying, narrowly missing a Hawk record with a time of 46.85. He then returned in the final to place fourth overall in a time of 47.10.

In addition to Thomas, sophomore Mike DiDio was 25th in the 1500m Run in a time of 3:53.90. David Masse also placed 25th in the 10,000m running 31:32.88. Collin Martin finished 18th in the 3000m Steeplechase.

In the relays, the 4x800 circled the track in 7:37.27 in qualifying to place eighth and reach the final. It then ran 7:37.40 in the final to finish ninth. The 4x400 placed 24th in a time of 3:25.29.
