PHILADELPHIA (12/23/01) - Senior Susan Moran was recognized as the Atlantic 10 Conference's women's basketball player of the week for the week ending on December 22. It is the third time this season that Moran has been honored. Moran averaged 26.0 points and 12.0 rebounds, as the Hawks posted wins over Drexel and Boston University, extending the team's winning streak to a season-best four games. Against Drexel on December 19, Moran netted 18 points and hauled down 13 rebounds in a 69-56 win.She then exploded for 34 points, two shy of her career-high, and grabbed 12 rebounds in a 59-47 victory over BU. The 30 point outburst was her third of the season. Moran is just the second player in school history to score 30+ points in three or more games in a season.
