Irina Krasnoshiok scored 15 of her 23 points in the second half to help the Hawk women's basketball team to an 88-76 victory over Team Concept in an exhibition game at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse. Fellow junior
Stephanie Graff added a game-high 24 points for the Crimson and Gray.
A good preseason test for SJU, Team Concept's roster featured a mix of WNBA standouts and overseas professionals. The game remained close until the middle stages of the second half, when Krasnoshiok sparked a 10-4 run that gave SJU some space.

Team Concept would creep as close as four, 64-60, but SJU eventually pushed the lead out to double digits on a pair of free throws by freshman
Maura McBryan with 6:46 to go. The lead hovered around ten the rest of the way.
A back-and-forth game early, SJU led by seven early in the first half before TC stormed back to tie the game at 15-15. Team Concept eventually built up an eight-point lead with 2:40 to go before halftime. The Hawks, however finished the period on a 9--0 run to go into the locker room at the break with a one-point advantage, 44-43.
In addition to netting 23 and 24 point, respectively, Krasnoshiok and Graff each corraled nine rebounds. Mehmedic added 13 points and eight rebounds and junior transfer
Erin Brady added 10 points and six assists.
The Hawks kickoff the season by hosting Big Five rival Villanova on November 22 at 7:00 PM.
