PHILADELPHIA (03/25/03) - Senior Jerry Puryear became the Hawks first conference honoree of the outdoor season by being named the Atlantic 10's Performer of the Week. He won the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.86 and was a member of the 4x400 relay team met IC4A standards in the first meet of the season on Sunday. SJU competed at the Quaker Invitational at Penn on Sunday.
