NEW YORK - Saint Joseph's swiftest runners faired well on Friday at the NYU Fastrack Invitational with seven meeting IC4A qualifying standards at the event. Among the Hawks who ran well were senior Doug Rick, juniors Andrew Thomas, Matt Petrocci, Mike DiDio, Joe Mohn and Andre Laboy, as wll as the 4x400 Relay.

The Hawks top finisher was Thomas, who placed second in the 800m with a time of 1:22.0. Petrocci also raced in the event and despite failing to place in the speedy field still met IC4A standards with a time of 1:25.5.

SJU placed all three runners it entered in the 3000m event, led by DiDio who finished fourth (7:46.8). He was followed by Mohn, who was fifth (7:49.3), and Laboy (7:53.2) in seventh.

In the 400m, Rick placed fourth in a time of 49.30. The 4x400, meanwhile, which included Thomas, Petrocci and Rick, along with frehsmna Bobby Staten, won the event in a time of 3:16.34.
