PHILADELPHIA, PA -
Haverford junior Grant Scott has been named the 2006 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Men's Track and Field Performer of the Year. Scott is one of ten student-athletes selected to the team, which is voted on by the sports information offices of the 28 area institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Joining Scott on the All-Area are Haverford's Sam Dalke, Zack McCormick and Boyce Upholt, Swarthmore's Vernon Chaplin and Keefe Keeley, Villanova's Drew Eckman and Mark Korich, Matt Kobialka of Temple and Matt Petrocci of Saint Joseph's.
