PHILADELPHIA -
The winter storm that blew through the Mid-Atlantic region on Friday has led to two Saint Joseph's baseball games being relocated and one SJU softball game being postponed indefinitely.
The home softball game originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 20th against Lafayette has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
SJU was also scheduled to host two baseball games this week. Tuesday's game against Villanova has been relocated to the Villanova Ballpark at Plymouth in Plymouth Township, PA. First pitch is still scheduled for 3:00 PM. As a result, the April 25th game originally slated to take place at Villanova Ballpark has been switched to Latshaw-McCarthy Field in Norristown, PA, the home of the Hawks.
Likewise, Wednesday's game against Delaware will take place at 3:00 PM at Delaware's Bob Hannah Stadium in Newark, DE. No makeup date for the rained-out February 28th game has been announced. If the game is made up, it will be played at Latshaw-McCarthy Field and will count as a home game for Saint Joseph's.
