The Saint Joseph's men's track squad finished its 2007 outdoor season by sending selected members to the IC4A Championship and the NCAA East Regional meets.
The IC4A Championships were held May 11 and 12 at Princeton University. Junior Richard Ryan competed in the 3000m steeplechase at the event, placing 11th with a time of 9:09.89, his best mark of the season. In the 800m trials, graduate student Mike DiDio turned in a time of 1:51.09, another season best. Finally, the 4x400 relay squad beat its previous best for the season in running a 3:18.91.
Two weeks later, DiDio and senior Teddy Meyers traveled to Gainesville, Florida for the NCAA East Regionals. DiDio placed 13th in the 1,500m with a time of 3:47.60, while Meyers finished 21st in the 5,000m, running the race in 14:32.07.
