Results
The SJU Hawks ran at Haverford's Keogh Invitational Friday night, bringing home an impressive 10 gold medals between the two teams. The women had nine wins on their side, including three individual wins by senior captain Jordan Teuber.
Teuber recorded a time of 7.36 to win the 55m dash by .24 of a second. Then in even more impressive fashion, she took home the 200m dash title with a time of 25.73. Teuber's winning mark was 1.7 seconds faster than teammate Caitin McGrath's second place time (27.23).
The Hawks swept the top two spots in the 400m dash as well with Kierstin Quinn and Kristin Pierce running 1:00.40 and 1:00.78 respectively. Pierce backed that performance with a win in the 55m Hurdles (8.47).
The Saint Joseph's victories were limited to the sprints either, as Anna Cushing won the 800m run in a time of 2:20.71. Rounding out the Hawk women on the track was the 4x400m relay squad that won its race in a time of 4:07.51.
In the field events, Teuber won the triple jump with a leap of 34-8 1/4. The long jump saw SJU take the top four spots led by Erin Vanderhoof's triumph of 16-9 1/4. For Natalie Miller, she recorded a win in the high jump cruising over the bar at 5-2 1/4.
The Men's team ran a limited side at Haverford. Their lone victory came in the 4x400m relay, winning by over four seconds in a time of 3:28.23.
SJU will travel north to the Armory in the final tuneup before ECACs/IC4As at the NYU Fastrack Invitational next week.
