NEWARK, Del. -- The SJU men's track team split its squad this week and sent many of its reserves to the Thomson Invitational at the University of Delaware on Saturday. Senior Justin Heinze was able to win the 5K, producing SJU's lone gold medal of the competition.
Saint Joseph's finished fifth in the nine-team field with 51.5 points. The Hawks will travel north to New England to run at the Giegengack Invitational on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Conn. next weekend.
