NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's women's track team completed its 2009 indoor track regular season with an impressive performance by Nicole McMullen at the NYU Fastrack event.  The junior starred in the long jump and the 200m, winning the first event and breaking the school record in the second.

McMullen won the long jump with a personal best leap of 5.87m (19-3 ¼).  Already qualified for the ECACs in the event, McMullen bested the competition by over seven inches.

She capped her career day with a school record performance in the 200m dash.  McMullen ran a time of 24.60, breaking her previous indoor record.  She finished just .06 behind Georgia State's Kendra Davis who was in a different heat.

The Hawks captured second in the 4x800m relay in a time of. 9:21.34.  The squad consisted of Kelsey Rose, Andrea Florida, Kathleen Casey, and Anna Casey.

Florida and Kathleen Casey ran eighth and ninth in the Mile in times of 5:06.89 and 5:09.96, respectively.  Both showings were season bests for the two athletes.

The Hawks used the NYU event as preparation for the ECAC Championships in Boston next weekend.
