Results

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Saint Joseph's men's track squad put up a strong showing at the Lou Onesty Invitational hosted by the University of Virginia this weekend.  Bobby Staten won his event while Brian Guterl and Jonathan Sclafani brought second place finishes home for the Hawks.

Staten ran an IC4A-qualifying time of 10.65 in the 100m Dash to take home first place honors.  

Guterl was beat out at the line by just .02 in the 800m to earn second place.  He ran 1:51.19, which is below the IC4A-qualifying standard.

Sclafani was impressive in the 3,000m Run as he garnered second place due to his time of 8:45.85.  He was tops amongst collegiate runners as the first place finisher was running as an unattached athlete.

The 4x400m Relay squad ran 3:17.08 in the event, below the IC4A-qualifying standard.  

Jared Sabre (49.82) and Nick DeFeo (49.91) broke the 50-second barrier en route to fifth and sixth place, respectively, in the 400m Dash.  

Saint Joseph's will travel north to Princeton to compete in the Larry Ellis Invitational starting Friday evening.
