PRINCETON, N.J. – Bobby Staten and Brian Guterl highlighted the Saint Joseph's men's track & field squad's performance at the Larry Ellis Invitational. Staten won the 100m Dash in an NCAA Regional qualifying time, while Guterl did the same in the 1,500m run with a sixth-place performance.

Staten sprinted a time of 10.48 to win the 100m Dash.  Guterl ran 3:47.80 in the 1,500m Run to qualify.  Neither athlete had previously qualified for the NCAA Regional before.

Will Rowland ran an IC4A-qualifying time of 14:18.20 in the 5,000m Run.  His showing was good for sixth.

The 4x100-Meter Relay of Tom DiNatale, Paul Barolette, Drew Brandt and Staten completed the circuit in 41.54 for third place.

Luke Fischer finished sixth in the Saturday edition of the 1,500m Run with a time of 3:59.83.

SJU will compete in the Penn Relays starting on Thursday and continuing through Saturday at Franklin Field.
