The Saint Joseph's men's track team competed at Delaware on Friday and Penn State on Saturday. Victor DiNoia and John DiPersio took first in the long jump and triple jump, respectively at Delaware, while the Hawks took first in the 1600m sprint medley at Penn State.
DiNoia took first with a 20'1 ½" mark in the long jump while Dipersio took second in the long jump with a 19'5 ¼" mark and placed first (41'½") in the triple jump at Delaware.
Also at Delaware, Christopher Lau won his heat in the 60m dash with a fourth place overall finish in 7 and won his heat in the 200m dash in fifth overall (23.95).
Michael Gallagher took second overall in the 500m dash, winning his heat with a time of 53.60.
At Penn State Jared Sabre took second in the 500m (1:05.74), finishing second in his heat, while Garrett Barbalinardo was third overall (1:05.92) and won the heat.
The Hawks took first in the sprint medley with a time of 3:39.26, while in the 4x400m relay they had a third place finish (3:19.59).
The Haws compete again on Friday at the Gotham Cup at 4:00 p.m. in New York, N.Y.
