Saint Joseph's women's basketball team opens the Big 5 portion of its schedule Tuesday as the Hawks travel to The Palestra to face Penn. The, game, set for a 7 p.m. tip, will be streamed live on the Saint Joseph's Sports Network.

The Hawks enter the game with a 90-33 all-time record in Big 5 contests and have claimed 15 city series titles.

Tuesday's game marks the 36th meeting between the Hawks and Quakers with SJU holding a 34-1 edge in the series and enter the game having won five straight against Penn.

The 2010-11 season marks the 38th year of Division I women's basketball at Saint Joseph's. The Hawks are six wins shy of 700, having posted a 694-362 all-time record.
