Boston, Mass. - The Saint Joseph's men's track team concluded its 2010 indoor season at the IC4A Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass. this weekend. The Hawks finished tied for 36th of 52 teams that scored behind Kevin McDonnell and Jared Sabre's fifth and sixth place finishes, respectively.

McDonnell, a sophomore out of Moorestown, N.J., ran the 5,000 meter in 14:22.67 to finish fifth of 30 runners competing in the race, including SJU's Jonathan Sclafani who placed 18th with a personal-best 14:43.39.

Sabre took eighth in preliminaries with a time of 1:03.68 to qualify for finals and improved to a personal-best 1:03.66 for a sixth overall finish.

The 4x800m Relay squad of Andrew Townsend, Ryan Garvin, Jesse Brooks and Luke Fischer ran to fifth in preliminaries with season-best time of 7:36.31 and placed ninth overall in 7:45.33.

Murphy O'Donnell, Logan Hohs, Steven Philbrook, and Kyle Murray competed on the distance medley squad that finished 18th in a time of 10:10.43.

The Hawks finished 27th in the 4x400 meter relay as Garrett Barbalinardo, David Smith, and Drew Brandt combined for a time of 3:20.60.
