Men's Track Competes at Princeton's New Year's Invitational

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's men's track team competed at the Princeton New Year's Invitational on Saturday at Jadwin Gymnasium. Senior Murphy O'Donnell placed second in the mile with a time of 4:30.82.

Freshman Thomas Harrington crossed the finish line of the mile in third place behind O'Donnell at 4:32.08. Freshman Lester Taylor placed eighth in the 1000-meter with as he finished with a time of 2:39.82.

The men's 4x400-meter relay team of Derrick Henry, David Smith, Brendan Robert and Tyler Gallen earned the top spot with a time of 3:21.96.

The Hawks will return to action on the 6 of January when they compete at the Delaware Invitational in Newark, Del. They are also scheduled to compete at the Penn State Relays on the 7th.
