Saint Joseph's women's basketball team puts its four-game win streak on the line Saturday when the Hawks host city for La Salle at 2 p.m. at Hagan Arena. The game, a Philadelphia Big 5 contest, will be streamed live on the Saint Joseph's Sports Network.

The Hawks enter Saturday's game with a 33-9 series edge over the Explorers, and have won the previous five contests. Saint Joseph's is 15-3 at home all-time against La Salle and won its last six straight home games. SJU's previous home loss came on February 10, 1998 (65-54).
Saturday's game is the third Big 5 contest for the Hawks. Saint Joseph's is 2-0 on the year after topping Penn (60-45 on Dec. 7) and Villanova (46-43 on Dec. 12).
The Hawks are 92-33 all-time record in Big 5 contests and are currently tied with Villanova for the most wins. Additionally, SJU has claimed a City Series-best 15 titles.
Saint Joseph's will honors it seniors - Dominique Bryant, Claire Ryan, Bridget McFadden and George Pastor - in a pregame ceremony.
Saint Joseph's is coming off arguably its best offensive game of the year, shooting a season-best 56.3 percent and scoring a season-high 79 points in a 79-73 win at Duquesne on Wednesday.
The Hawks had five players score in double figures against the Dukes - the first time this season five SJU players have reached double figures in the same game - led by junior Michelle Bakers' game-high 22 points.
Freshman Erin Shields and junior Katie Kuester have accounted for 81 of Saint Joseph's 110 three pointers this year. The duo has been counted on more so in Atlantic 10 play as they have hit 35 of the team's 41 field goals from behind the arc.
The Hawks have more wins this month (four) than they did all January (two).
With Wednesday's win, the Hawks secured a spot in the Atlantic 10 Tournament as well as guaranteed themselves a winning record on the road this season. Saint Joseph's went just 4-8 away from Hawk Hill last year.
Saturday's game is also part of the WBCA's Pink Zone that helps spread breast cancer awareness. Admission is just $1 when fans wear pink. All proceeds from the game will benefit Assistance in Healthcare, an organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families.
