PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Big 5 title is on the line Wednesday when Saint Joseph's women's basketball team hosts Temple at 7 p.m. at Hagan Arena. The Hawks and Owls each enter with 3-0 records in the City Series.

• Saint Joseph's rides a five-game win-streak into Wednesday's game with Temple. The Hawks have gone from 2-5 and tied for 10th in the Atlantic 10 to 7-5 and currently tied for fourth in the conference over the past three weeks.
• The Hawks have the third-longest winning streak in the Atlantic 10 at five games. Wednesday's opponent, Temple, has the longest streak with 14-straight wins with #6 Xavier right behind with 13-straight victories.
• The Hawks hold a 40-31 series edge over the Owls, but have lost 10-straight to Temple. The last Saint Joseph's win came at home on January 27, 2006 (W, 65-64), with nine of the previous 11 games between the SJU and Owls being decided by seven points or fewer, with two contests going to overtime.
• The Hawks currently sit atop the Big 5's all-time standings with a record 93 wins. Saint Joseph's, which is 93-33 all-time in the City Series, has claimed a Big 5-best 15 titles.
• Junior guard Michelle Baker earned her third Big 5 Player of the Week honor this week as she helped the Hawks to a 2-0 record. Averaging 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, Baker scored a game-high 22 points in last Wednesday's win at Duquesne and followed with a team-high 15 points and seven rebounds against La Salle.
• Wednesday's game is the final home game of the season for the Hawks. Saint Joseph's has posted an 8-4 mark at Hagan Arena this year and are 3-3 at home in conference games.
