Returning to her alma mater as an assistant coach is Christine Kane. One of the premier distance runners in program history, Kane graduated from Saint Joseph's in 2001.

A three-time NCAA qualifier in cross country, she twice was named the Atlantic 10 performer of the Year. She was also an NCAA qulifier indoor in teh mile and outdoor in the 1500.
