OLEAN, N.Y. – Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, the baseball series between Saint Joseph's and St. Bonaventure has been shortened.

Snow and wind rendered conditions unsafe for play, and Friday's game was suspended in the seventh inning.  Attempts to resume the game on Saturday were thwarted as Fred Handler Park could not be made suitable for play in time before darkness would lead to a further suspension.

The teams will now attempt to finish the first game of the series at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.  After that, conditions permitting, the Hawks and Bonnies will then play a full game to wrap up the series.  The third game of the set has been canceled.
