PHILADELPHIA – Under the direction of 29th-year head coach Mike Glavin, the Saint Joseph's men's track and field team is set to compete at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. The two-day meet will be held at George Mason Stadium from Saturday, May 5 through Sunday, May 6 in Richmond, Va.

The Hawks earned 45.5 points to place seventh at last season's A-10 outdoor meet, as now-graduate student Dan Savage led the way with a second-place finish in the 3000m steeplechase. Saint Joseph's last five performances include a seventh (2017), back-to-back sixth-place finishes (2016, 2015), a fifth-place finish (2014), and a sixth-place finish (2013). SJU's highest program finish at outdoor A-10s is third, in 2001 and 2002.
