Box Score PHILADELPHIA – The USciences men's basketball team wrapped up its three-game home-stand with a 70-44 loss to Le Moyne on Sunday afternoon at Bobby Morgan Arena.
Austin Kennedy led University of the Sciences with nine points, with Sean Simon tallying eight and Darious Brown seven, which was one short of the latter's career-high.
Matthew McCaffrey added six points, a team-high five rebounds and game-high three steals, while Omari Salvi notably made his collegiate debut.
Le Moyne (3-2) would lead throughout after scoring 14 seconds in, with USciences getting as close as one twice, the latter coming on a 3-pointer by Simon that made the score 12-11 7:06 in.
Simon's 3-pointer to make the score 17-14 with 8:27 showing was the last time it would be a one-possession game, as the Dolphins scored seven straight to take its first double-digit advantage, 24-14, with an even five minutes left in the first.
Le Moyne would add to that advantage to end the half, taking a 34-16 lead into the locker room.
University of the Sciences plays its final game prior to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play commencing at Lincoln on Wednesday.
