The Saint Joseph's baseball team will play its first home series of the conference schedule this weekend when the Hawks welcome George Mason to Smithson Field to continue a season-long eight-game homestand.

LAST TIME OUT: Saint Joseph's topped Lehigh, 15-11, on Tuesday afternoon…The Hawks hit five home runs in the game, one shy of the program single-game record…Brett Callahan was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and five driven in, while Brandon Drapeau tallied three hits, two runs, and two RBI…Jake Artz hit his first collegiate home run in the contest…The Hawks opened conference play last weekend at UMass, dropping two of three in a series that featured 84 runs scored and 105 hits…SJU won the series finale, 16-13, with Luca Trigiani hitting two home runs and driving in seven runs.
 
George Mason dropped a midweek contest at #23 Maryland, 8-5, on Tuesday…A four-run fifth gave the Patriots the lead, but the Terrapins went ahead once again in the sixth and tacked on a pair of late runs to seal it…Last weekend, GMU opened conference play with a 7-6 home win over defending league champion VCU, but dropped the final two games of the series.
