PHILADELPHIA – The USciences women's tennis team had the opportunity to host Division I Duquesne on Friday evening at the Hamlin Center.
Myra Anwar and Myka Williams won a team-high three games in doubles play at the third flight, while Kirsten Wijnsema was ahead 3-2 in the second set of her No. 2 singles match before it was not finished.
Duquesne (9-8) won 4-0, as the remaining matches were halted when the result was decided.
University of the Sciences faces another stern test when it hosts regionally-ranked Le Moyne on Saturday at 5 p.m.
