PHILADELPHIA – The USciences men's and women's tennis team hosted the regionally-ranked Le Moyne men's and women's tennis team on Saturday at the Hamlin Center.
Stephanie Mazurek won her No. 6 singles match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, to move to a team-best 6-5 on the season. The result moved her into a tie for fourth in program history with 34 career singles victories.
Kirsten Wijnsema and Charlotte Kordonowy were also winners, paring for an 8-6 tiebreaker triumph at No. 1 doubles for their first-ever victory together.
On the men's side, Pedro Ramos won a team-high six games in singles play.
The USciences women continues its current four-match home-stand when it hosts its third match in four days on Monday against St. Thomas Aquinas at 6 p.m., while the men close out thier Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) schedule on Wednesday when it hosts Post at 6 p.m.
