PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's soccer head coach
Jess Mannella has announced the 2026 schedule for the Hawks. The 18-game schedule includes a pair of games against teams that qualified for last season's NCAA Tournament, nine contests at Sweeney Field and a 10-match Atlantic 10 slate.
"I'm really looking forward to this season," said head coach,
Jess Mannella. "I feel like our non-conference schedule will be great competition to get our program prepared for an always competitive A-10 conference. I'm also excited that we were able to get three city opponents on our schedule as those rivalries help us prepare for later in the season just that much more.
St. Joe's opens earlier than ever before, starting off by hosting Drexel on Aug. 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Hawks remain at home for a contest against Hofstra on Aug. 15 before playing three on the road at Lafayette (Aug. 23), Bucknell (Aug. 30) and Temple (Sept. 3).
Three of the next four games come at home as Vermont (Sept. 6), Wagner (Sept. 13) and George Mason (Sept. 19) all come to Sweeney Field, sandwiched around a match at local rival Penn on Sept. 10.
A two-game A-10 road swing to Davidson (Sept. 24) and George Washington (Sept. 27) rounds out the second month of the season. October begins by alternating home and road matches as Saint Joseph's takes on VCU (Oct. 3) and Fordham (Oct. 11) on Hawk Hill, while traveling to Saint Louis (Oct. 8) and Rhode Island (Oct. 17.)
The final two home games of the season are against St. Bonaventure and Dayton on Oct. 22 and 25 respectively. The regular season closes at Loyola Chicago on Nov. 1.
The Atlantic 10 Championship opens with quarterfinal play on Nov. 6 and 7. Semifinals are on Nov. 11 and the final is on Nov. 15. All matches in the conference tournament will be played at the site of the higher seed.
