Gina Bundy and James Scott Inducted into Track and Field Hall of Fame

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's cross country and track and field teams will celebrate the induction of Gina Bundy '01 and James Scott '02 into the Track and Field Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 23, at the Campion Banquet Center on campus.

Bundy, an Academic All-American and Academic All-Atlantic 10 honoree, was named 2001 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet after winning the heptathlon, triple jump, and high jump at the A-10 championships. She was a two-time A-10 indoor triple jump champion. She earned All-East honors once in outdoor and twice in the indoor triple jump.

Bundy graduated with and still holds school records in the heptathlon and in the indoor and outdoor shot put.

Scott was a three-time indoor champion in the 55m ('01) and 200m ('01,'02) dash and was also named 2001 Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet after winning the outdoor 100m and 200m at the A-10 championships.

Scott was a three-time indoor IC4A scorer in the 60m and 200m dash and scored once in the outdoor 200m. He graduated with school records in the outdoor 100m and 200m, and still holds school records in the indoor 55m and 200m.

In addition to inducting Bundy and Scott into the Hall of Fame, Saint Joseph's will recognize Fred Tullos with the Frank Manion Award for outstanding contributions to the SJU track and field teams. Tullos is the Hawks' legendary bus driver and friend to coaches and athletes alike and has driven the teams for 15 years.
